You have learned to cunningly harness the power of words as well as see more clearly through the attempted subterfuge of others.  You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Wisdom or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You gain half-proficiency, rounded up, in Deception, Insight, Perception, and Persuasion.
• Choose one skill in which you have proficiency from the following Deception, Insight, Perception, or Persuasion.  You gain expertise with that skill, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.  The skill you choose must be one that isn't already benefitting from a feature, such as Expertise, that doubles your proficiency bonus.
