Beast Trainer

You can train animals to serve as companions and mounts.

• You can add twice your proficiency bonus to Wisdom (animal handling) checks you make.
• You can train an animal over the course of a week, after which it adds your proficiency bonus to its Armor Class, attacks rolls, skill checks, and saving throws that it is proficient with. This training also allows the animal to gain levels which grant them an additional hit die each level, an ability score improvement at 4th level and every four levels afterwards, and increases to their proficiency bonus.

*This feat uses alternate rules as a way to allow any character to have an animal companion.
