Your team exhibits exceptional coordination, allowing you to swiftly pass items between each other during combat. This feat enables the seamless exchange of items, enhancing your tactical flexibility.

You can pass an item to a teammate within 30 feet and line of sight in the following ways:

  • Bonus Action Pass: You can use a bonus action to throw an item to a teammate within 30 feet and line of sight. The receiver can then use their reaction to catch the item. If they choose not to or fail to catch it, the item falls to the ground within 5 feet of the receiver.
  • Free Action Request: The receiver can call for an item as a free action on their turn. This prompts you to use your reaction to throw the item. The receiver can use a bonus action to catch it. If the item is not caught, it falls to the ground within 5 feet of the receiver.
  • Synchronized Action: If both you and the receiver act on the same initiative, you can each use a bonus action to pass and receive the item. This method ensures a guaranteed pass without using reactions.

The thrown item can only be caught by the intended recipeint. Enemies cannot intercept the item in mid-air, but they can pick it up if it falls to the ground or take it from the recipient once the pass is completed. Picking up an item from the ground requires a bonus action. Only the character initiating the pass needs to have this feat.

Swift Coordination. When using this feat, both the passer and the receiver gain a +2 bonus to their next attack roll or ability check made within the next turn, representing the increased morale and tactical advantage gained from their teamwork.
