Prerequisite: Ability to cast at least one spell

Benefits:

  1. Spell Focus: The character's focus and concentration on their spells improve. When casting a spell that requires a saving throw, the DC of the saving throw is increased by +1.

  2. Arcane Overflow: Once per long rest, the character can tap into an overwhelming surge of magical energy. When casting a spell of 1st level or higher, they can choose to roll an additional damage die related to the spell's damage type. For example, if the spell deals 2d6 fire damage, they can roll an extra d6 for additional damage. This extra damage applies to each target affected by the spell.

  3. Spell Resilience: The character's deep connection to the arcane grants them additional protection from magical threats. They have advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects.

  4. Enhanced Spell Preparation: The character's understanding of magical theory allows them to alter their spell preparation with greater ease. Once per long rest, they can change the spells prepared without needing to complete a long rest.

  5. Arcane Mastery: The character gains a deeper understanding of spellcasting. When rolling damage for a spell, they can choose to reroll any 1s on the damage dice once. They must keep the new result.
