The powerful blood of vampires flows through your veins and severely alters your physicality. When you are brought to an inch of your life, the vampiric blood can take control over you in order to ensure your survival. Whenever you are reduced to 0 hit points you are instead reduced to 20 hit points and undergo a drastic transformation. Your eyes flare bright red, your veins grow large and your heart starts pumping blood audibly. While in this state, which lasts a maximum of 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
- Wings sprout from your back and you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
- During each of your turns, you can only attack by using a bite attack, siphoning the blood of your enemies.
- Your bite attack now deals an additional 10 (3d6) necrotic damage and heals you for the same amount. If you are healed this way, your exhaustion level is lowered by 1d4.
- At the end of your turns you may choose to gain a number of exhaustion levels (minimum of 1) and regain hit points equal to 10 times the chosen amount of exhaustion levels.
After receiving at least 3 exhaustion levels from this feature, you may choose to end it as a free action on your turn.
