Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher

If you are subjected to an effect or action originating from a creature, you can use your reaction to employ your shield or a weapon with the guard property, positioning it between yourself and the effect or action. When you do, you gain the following benefits:

• You can make a Strength saving throw instead of the original saving throw.
• Creatures in a 90-foot cone behind you have total cover from the effect.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
