When you engage in two-weapon fighting and use your bonus action to attack with your offhand weapon, you can add your Strength or Dexterity modifier (whichever is higher) to the damage of the offhand attack in addition to the regular ability modifier. This benefit applies as long as you are wielding a light melee weapon in your offhand.

After successfully hitting a creature with an offhand attack, you gain the ability to Disengage as a free action, without expending your bonus action. This allows you to move away from the target without provoking opportunity attacks.
