you have advantage on all melee weapon attacks using weapons that deal slashing or piercing damage, just so long as you wield the weapon backwards, holding onto the sharp part as you swing it. The only downside is that any damage you do to an enemy, you must divide it by two (rounding down) and deal that damage to yourself.
