Prerequisite: You must know the Prestidigitation cantrip.
You have taken a spell that many believe to be a minor magical trick that novice spellcasters use for practice to new heights.
- Increase your intelligence score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Prestidigitation no longer counts against the number of Cantrips you know.
The spell has the following changes:
- A range of 150ft.
- Casting time is a Bonus Action.
- You may cast it with your choice of Somatic or Vocal components (you no longer need to perform both).
- Your nonmagical trinkets and illusory images last up to ten minutes.
- All area of effects can affect up to 10 cubic feet.
- As a free action you can attach any one effect to any spell you cast.
- If you cast this spell multiple times, there is no limit on how many of its non-instantaneous effects you can have active at a time and you can dismiss any effect as a bonus action.

I love the concept, but it might be a bit too strong
I love the idea of a feat to increase the power of a specific spell, ability or thing. And Prestidigitation is right on the top of the list for me. But there are a few balancing things I would change with this feat. But I will say the Bonus Action casting time is neat, and I don't see how changing the area of effect to 10 cubic feet could do to much. You can clean your whole body in 1 casting instead of a couple, or you can make a large picture in the wall instead of a portrait sized one. Don't think these would to to much damage, but the 10^3 ft might be a bit much, I'm just not sure how right now. All but 2 changes I would make are nerfs. If I didn't mention it, than I think it's fine or intent of the wording is fine, like "free action" instead of "no action" or "as part of casting a spell".
+1 To any spellcasting stat, Intelligence Wisdom or Charisma, with that stat being your spellcasting modifier for Prestidigitation. Which almost never matters for cantrips like Prestidigitation, but it can come up.
Change the range to 30ft, 150 is way to much. 10ft was limiting but not that bad, giving it the same range as Minor Illusion is strong, but this is an entire feat based around 1 cantrip. 150ft is just asking someone to abuse Prestidigitation, abusing a spell and using it all the time are different, and Prestidigitation is fun and shouldn't be abused.
Make it so you can hide the Somatic and Verbal components of Prestidigitation instead of being allowed to ignore one. You can hide them in casual conversation while waving your hand(s) around and cast it in secret. Or make bad puns to cast it... wait I already do that. Flavor is free but this feat isn't. Maybe have someone roll Arcana against your Spell Save for Prestidigitation if they suspect your casting a spell.
Trinkets and Illusions last a max of 1 minute instead of 10. Buffs them from 12 seconds but doesn't make it last forever.
Either change it to 5 total non-instantaneous effects if you want to buff it from 3, or 2-3 active effects of each effect if adding more active effects is necessary. Having unlimited effects seems strong, even if they don't last that long. I also sincerely think ending an effect of Prestidigitation as a action was stupid in the first place. I think it should be "no action", which is 5e's version of free action as far as I understand it.
So besides making this something for characters besides Wizards with the stat bonus, the other "buff" I would add to the feat is something I think should have been in the core spell in the first place. Ending an effect without requiring an action.
I'm writing what I would change since I really like this feat idea and having multiple opinions usually creates a better result, usually. Though I do think this still is a little too strong, the changes are to a single cantrip Prestidigitation, which is literally the cantrip of fun generic magic effect.
Would people honestly use a feat for this? i mean given no ability score increase., I really like it but an entire feat seems expensive for a nifty idea. Perhaps a DM allowed theme feat?
