Determination Points

Determination Points are a special form of devotion that player characters hold in the face of the dangers of the War of the Lance. Each character starts the session with a Determination Point. Unused points expire at the end of the session. Adds a PC's proficiency bonus to a roll, even if the player would already add their proficiency bonus anyway.
