Your study of devils and demons have given you insight on how best to tempt them to obey your commands or trust your words. If you summon a fiend with a spell such as Summon Greater Demon, You can make a Persuasion check against it's Insight as part of the action to have it become friendly to you and serve as an ally against your enemies. You have advantage on this roll as well as any Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation roll made against Fiends you encounter that aren't summoned by you.
If you fail on this roll, the fiend behaves as it naturally would to you and may become hostile as it knows you attempted to manipulate it. Some fiends may agree to help you only in exchange for a deal or service immediately after it helps you or at a later time of it's choosing.
