Freed from the clutches of vile Illithid, the Fathomless reforms anew in the depths and bestows its grace upon its greatest champion.
As a bonus action, you may adopt the ever-shifting form of the Fathomless, becoming as the inky terror of an endless sea. For the next 10 minutes, you gain the following benefits:
You are immune to cold damage.
You may move as if under the Freedom of Movement spell and your speed increases by 10 feet.
Your Tentacle of the Deeps may be summoned or moved to anywhere within line of sight when you would summon or move it. Additionally, when Guardian Coil reduces damage, it may reduce an additional 1d8.
Once per turn, when a creature you can see and can see you is hit by one of your attacks, you may choose to force it to make a Wisdom Saving throw vs your spell save DC. On a failure, it becomes frightened until the start of your next turn. On a failure of 5 or more, it becomes frightened and paralyzed.
Once you adopt this form, you may not do so until you complete a short or long rest. If you have already short rested to regain this ability, you must long rest to regain it instead.
