"Sacrificial magic terrifies me, honestly. Not because of the effects it can achieve, as impressive as they are, but because of how easy it is to slide down that slope into evil and madness." -Archmage Aratim
The user can sacrifice life energy to restore spell slots. They can either sacrifice 8 HP per spell slot level to restore any level spell slot as a bonus action, or use an action to sacrifice a non-resisting creature to recover a spell slot (this requires the creature to be weak enough that the user can kill it with a blade in one hit, and somehow incapacitated or bound). What spell slot is recovered from the sacrifice is up to the DM's discretion, but if a creature is to weak for its life to be worth a first level spell slot, its energy will stay with the person who performed the sacrifice until they build up enough to be worth a spell slot.
NOTE: Clerics, Paladins, and Druids CANNOT use the Sacrifice Other option.
