You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
- Choose +1 Dex or Str. You can now use the related skill check to initiate the grapple.
-
As part of an attack action, you may replace one of your attacks with an attempt to grapple an enemy within 5 feet of you that is up to one size category larger than yourself and no bigger than Large size. If the grapple attempt succeeds you may choose one of the following as an immediate bonus action:
- Standing throw: With a quick hip swivel, you fling your opponent to the ground. They land prone in a space on your choice within 5 feet of you. You keep your feet and the grapple ends. If the opponent lands on a solid surface (such as the ground), they take bludgeoning damage as if from a single unarmed attack from you.
- Rolling throw: You fling yourself in an arc, pulling your opponent with you to send them flying. They land prone in a space of your choice within 10 feet of you. You land prone in a space of your choice within 5 feet of your starting space and the grapple ends. Impact damage to the opponent is as with the Standing throw option, plus 1d4.
- Body slam: You spin and slam your opponent at your feet with your own body's momentum. You both land prone in your space and grappled condition remains. Your opponent takes damage as per the Rolling throw option.
