Echoes of Reality

Reality is a tapestry woven from countless threads of possibility. Through introspective meditation, a mysterious cosmic gift, or an encounter with an otherworldly entity, you've learned to pluck these threads, causing ripples in the fabric of what is, was, and might yet be. You gain the following benefits:

• Whispers of the Past:

  • As a bonus action, you can focus on a specific object, location, or creature you can see. You receive a 10-second silent vision revealing a significant event that occurred in relation to the target within the last week. These visions always provide enough context to understand the significance of the event.
  • Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
  • The DM decides what event, if any, is revealed.

• Glimpse of Potential:

  • Whenever you make a Wisdom-based ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, but before the result is known, you can choose to roll a second d20. You must then choose which of the d20s to use.
  • Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

• Reality’s Ripple:

  • As an action, you can cause reality to briefly waver around you. For the next minute, any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you or moves there for the first time on its turn must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
  • On a failed save, the creature perceives a minor illusion of your choice (no larger than a 5-foot cube). This illusion can be used to distract, obscure vision, or mislead. It remains in the location it was created and lasts until the start of the creature's next turn.
  • On a successful save, the creature is unaffected and is immune to this feature for the next 24 hours.
  • Creatures can interact with or investigate the illusion following the rules of the "Minor Illusion" spell.
  • Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest
