You are a cook, but no ordinary cook. You take pride in your ability to work in less than ideal situations.
Food a little spoiled? Just make it spicy. Don't have all the ingredients? You can cook with whatever you have at hand. No cooking utensils? A sword is just a big knife and a flat rock works just as well as a frying pan.
- You can do everything a regular chef can do, even without proper Cook's Utensils. However you must add +2 to the check's DC.
- If a creature consumes poison or spoiled food that has been cooked by you, it has Advantage on all Constitution saving throws relating to that food.
- As part of a short rest, you can cook special food, provided you have some of the ingredients on hand. You can prepare enough food for a number of creatures equal to 2 + your proficiency bonus. At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food and spends one or more Hit Dice to regain hit points regains an extra 1d6 hit points.
- With one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, you can cook a number of treats equal to your proficiency bonus. These special treats last for 24 hours after being made. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of those treats to gain temporary hit points equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down.
