At 8th level instead of the Land's Stride feature you gain the superhuman ability to parry arrows, bolts, and other projectiles, mid-flight. When an enemy successfully hits on a ranged attack roll you may, as a reaction, roll a Dexterity Saving throw adding their proficiency bonus. If the result is equal to or higher than the attack roll made against you, the bolt or arrow is parried and deals no damage. You may only use this ability a number of times per day equal to your Dexterity modifier. You regain all uses of this ability after you complete a short or long rest. This ability does not apply to projectiles such as bullets from a sling, or large projectiles such as bolts from a ballistae.
