Boon of the Winter Court Shadow Lord

Growing up in the Fey Wild gave childhood a sense of adventure. Growing up as a Fey Prince of the Winter Court, assured that it was exhilarating. Unfortunately, the day that Kastian and his twin brother decided to brutally slay their father, the Fey King, their paths changed forever. Although their lives were spared, they were exiled and forced to find refuge on the nearby isle of Neverland. 

Since they were the rightfully heir of the crown, the dark shadow of the Winter Court followed, stalking them until the opportunity was right to strike, chosing Kastian's body to inhabit. Why the dark shadow chose Kas and not his brother is a question that may never be answered. 

Being jealous of Kastian's new found power, his brother and his best friend Peter Pan, hatched a plan to banish him to a mortal realm. In this realm the dark shadow was more corrupt and held power that Kastian was not able to control. With the help of some new found friends, he was able to return to the Fey Wild and reclaim what was rightfully his, the crown of the Fey King. Now with possession of the crown, Kas has control of the shadow. He and the shadow rule together and the shadow wishes to protect its host at all cost.

Mind games

Due to Kastian's Fey blood he is inherently good at mind games granting him the ability to manipulate the minds of others. He can use detect thoughts as a passive ability. This allows him to be better in a combat situation. Giving him advantage on attack rolls and all attacks against him have disadvantage. 

Any creature with an intelligence of 4 or lower by passes this effect, in addition, creatures using a reckless attack feature also bypass this effect.

It also allows him to use Hallucinatory Terrain and Major Image at will.

Fey Mojo

Growing up as Fey royalty Kastian has become accustomed to getting his way. This gives him expertise in all charisma based skills and advantages in all charisma based saves and checks.

Winter Court Skin

Being a Fey of the winter court Kastian has become accustomed to the cold chill of winter, granting him immunity to cold damage and all conditions caused by cold weather. He can see through all forms of darkness, even magical.

Shadow Armor

Having the Dark Shadow being apart of him allows him to add his proficiency bonus to his AC.

Shadow Weapons

The Shadow within allows Kastian to wield shadows as weapons. 

Any blade he uses gains the Shadow blade properties. Gaining 2d8 psychic damage, giving it the thrown weapon properity, range 20/80, and he may summon the weapon back to his hand as a bonus action.

No place like home

Being the king of the Winter Court, Kastian is able to open a portal to Neverland whenever he would like. 

Shadowy Escape

Upon death Kastian's body becomes a living shadow. The Shadow is immune to all damage and can manipulate the shadows of others. 

Once the Shadow appears it commands all shadows it can see to reach out and grab those around it, restraining all. All creatures within 120ft are restrained, on their turn they may use an action, to make a strength or athletics check, DC 30 to escape.

This last until the Shadow is a safe distance away. On Kastians next turn the Shadow will then takes its host to safety, were Kastian is reformed from the Shadow on the next full moon.
