Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least 1 unique spell from a school related to temporal manipulation

Manipulating time remains one of the most rare and difficult feats a mage can accomplish, even for the most renowned archmages. However, you've peered through the veil and grasped time's chaos more times than you could ever possibly know; and have found a way to send your temporal spells ahead in time.

Once, on each of your turns, you can use your bonus action to select a temporal spell that you know to be resolved in the near future. First, expend the spell slot for that spell, and then choose when and how you want the spell to resolve over the next 3 rounds, or 18 seconds. This could be before, during, or after anyone's turn, including yours. Using this feature doesn't consume your "Cast a Spell" action on the turn you activate it, nor when the spell eventually resolves.

All spells cast through this feature gain an extra 20 ft of range as you account for the slight changes in the world's position in those moments, taking advantage of your understanding of space-time. Additionally, spells that were already ranged attacks gain an extra bonus to their attack rolls equal to your half of your proficiency bonus, with a minimum of +1.

Starting at 5th level, when using this feature, you can choose to split spells with an area of effect or use multiple dice in their damage rolls. One half resolves in one instance, then the other half resolves in a second instance. This requires concentration. If the chosen spell normally requires concentration, it only persists during these two instances. After the second half of the spell resolves, you must succeed against your own spell save DC (without your own ability modifiers). On a failed save, you gain 1 point of exhaustion and suffer 1 point of psychic damage for each acclimated point of exhaustion.

Starting at 9th level, you can use this feature to cast spells from any school of magic that have a casting time of 1 bonus action. Additionally, spells hastened through abilities, such as Quicken Spell, may also be cast using this feature.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.
