You have inexplicable luck that seems to kick in at just the right moment.
Congratulations, you all start with the lucky feat, a boon granted by the gods for being a chosen hero or friend for saving your pet spider, helping friends, saving a town, mastering manipulation, or who knows what, maybe you're just special, and you're pretty lucky, right? However, there is one term of conditions, these lucky rolls can only be used when you're acting within the alignment of your character. Your actions and alignments are the driving factors for this story, your actions will change the story for good or bad or whatsoever in between.
This feat doesn't take away anything else 5e grants to you for your levels, I'm adding this in however in consequence I am removing Lucky as a feat option only (racial traits like luck would be unaffected by this rule).
You have 3 luck points. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can spend one luck point to roll an additional d20. You can choose to spend one of your luck points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
You can also spend one luck point when an attack roll is made against you. Roll a d20, and then choose whether the attack uses the attacker's roll or yours. If more than one creature spends a luck point to influence the outcome of a roll, the points cancel each other out; no additional dice are rolled.
You regain your expended luck points when you finish a long rest.
