Your studies of or experiences with magic have given you insight into magic and its effects.
- You can double your proficiency bonus on the arcana skill. Assuming you are already proficient.
- You have a 'passive arcane perception' score equal to 10 + your arcana proficiency. Any spellcaster casting a spell within 30 feet of you or targeting you must make a stealth check against your passive arcane perception. This check has disadvantage if the spell requires verbal and somatic, verbal and material, or somatic and material components. The check automatically fails if the spell requires all three of these components. On a failed check, you become aware that a spell is being cast and what creature is casting it, and you may use your reaction to make an arcana check to identify the spell (DC = 10 + spell level). When you succeed this arcana check, give yourself advantage on saving throws against that spell for 1 round.
