Conqueror's Soul

Having found a way to repurpose the soul fragment of Baltasar, You are able to tap into the demonic energy that lies within and use it to strengthen yourself. Due to only have a a small piece of the soul, the power you draw from this is a weaker version but still powerful enough to make you a more formidable fighter in combat.

As a reaction when you would take damage, you may allow that damage to fully ignore your resistances and immunities, and draw it into the power of the black flame. Instead of taking damage (effects are taken normally), the flame draws it into your blade. While inside, whatever weapon you are wielding burns with a deep black flame, and you may choose to release that additional damage on your next melee attack. This additional damage is necrotic and this ability cannot be carried over to your next turn. While the attack is stored, Baltasar whispers inside your mind, advising you to use that foe's strength against them.

If this ability absorbs more damage than your maximum hit points, you are incapacitated until the end of your next turn. Balthazar whispers tauntingly in your mind during this time. You cannot absorb more than your max HP, doing so results in the overwhelming surge of power rendering you incapacitated for your next two turns. While incapacitated this way you hear Baltasar whispering taunts in your ear; giving you no rest and mocking you.
