Prestige 2: (works everywhere):

“I‘m a Merchant, not a fighter. Why would you find me on a battlefield? I’ll be out in the markets.”

Ability 1: Compound Interest - You gain a new sidework option. Rather than jeweling, you may collect interest on your liquid gold, because no truly wealthy person needs a day job. This interest is equal to 5% of your current gp amount, rounded down to the nearest 1000gp.

Ability 2: Black Market Buyer - You may purchase additional items outside of the magic item shop per week.

Prestige 4
: (Works in native realm and realms where you have roots. Ex. Domain):

To not fight dirty, is to openly choose death.

Ability 3: Shadow Travel - Your shadow step becomes a free action, and its range increases to line of sight. It does not have to be within line of sight as long as the point is within your Aura of Despair. This doesn’t count as teleportation.

Ability 4: Body of Shadow - You are constantly under the effects of your "Umbral Form" ability, though your appearance may vary. You are always considered in dim light, unless marked affected by a spell or an ability that would state otherwise.

Prestige 6: (Works in certain parts of the native realm):

Escape is preferable. But if a fight occurs… one must be prepared.

Ability 5: Death Adept - Necrotic Damage you deal cannot be negated or reduced, and is treated as if the enemy was vulnerable to it, as it’s too interfused with the magic of death to be stopped.

Ability 6: Divine Shadowsage - You may cast plane shift traveling to or from the shadowfell at will. If targeting an enemy, they have disadvantage on the saving throw.

Prestige 8: (works in domain or with explicit DM approval):

“I am a conduit for all negative energy in this accursed place. How would you like to be the same?”

Ability 7: Aura of Despair. You gain an aura to a range of 150ft. In that range, all creatures besides those of your choice must make wisdom saves at the end of their turn, which are affected by hound of ill omen. After three failed saves, they fall incapacitated, and automatically fail the save of your Gaze of Despair. In addition, the effects of the charmed and frightened condition on you are suppressed as you overpower them. Effects that rely on these conditions such as the ‘geas’ spell fail. You are aware of all creatures making these saving throws, along with their exact locations. These effects end on any creature that leaves this aura.

Ability 8: Gaze of Despair. As an action, you can more specifically focus your aura onto one creature. They must make a wisdom save equal to your spell save dc or be utterly crippled as a wave of despair envelopes them. This is affected by hound of ill omen. If they would fail the save they would fall prone and become stunned regardless of any immunities. They may only repeat this save if subjected to an effect that would remove the charmed and/or frightened condition, such as a monk’s ‘stillness of mind’. This is effect otherwise ends when you choose
