As a master of poisons and their deadly art, you know the power of a well-placed dose in battle. With a flick of your wrist, a single drop can incapacitate an enemy or tip the scales in your favor. You can identify the ingredients of any poison with a mere glance, and know the best ways to apply them for maximum effect. Your foes beware, for in your hands, even the most innocuous substances become deadly weapons.
You gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency with the Poisoner's Kit if you donβt already have it.
- You gain a Poison DC, for which all poisons created by you use. This DC is equal to 8 + Intelligence + Proficiency Bonus.
- With one hour of work using a poisonerβs kit and expending 20 gp worth of materials per dose, you can create a number of doses of potent poison equal to your proficiency bonus.
> When this applied to a weapon or 5 pieces of ammunition, the poison retains its potency for 8 hours.
> When a creature takes damage from the coated weapon or ammunition, that creature must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw against your Poison DC or take 1d4 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute, making another Constitution save at the end of each of their turns to end the condition early.
At higher levels: At 5th level the poison damage increases to 2d4, at 10th level it increases to 2d6, at 15th level it increases to 2d8, and at 20th level it increases to 2d12.
