you are slowly being infected by the Orynax's deeptouch, and if it fully takes control, it will seep away your will and make you a thrall to a dead god, forced to follow his last command. Orynax is The Deep King, and discovered how to forcefully make a creature go mad from deep god worship by taking their will, or Deeptaking. Deeptaking turns the creature into a shadowy creature. However, by some miracle, you are able to fight it. Pick one of your limbs, that limb is now wreathed in shadow and almost seems to have disappeared, though you can use it.
While you have the Deeptaken Touch, you can cast the Eldritch Blast cantrip (intelligence is your spellcasting ability, unless you have another spellcasting ability already), but after casting, you must make a charisma saving throw. On a failure, you become possessed, and must attack the nearest combatant with an unarmed strike with your possessed limb.
