Once per long rest freely upcast a necromancy spell. i.e. up cast ray of sickness from 2 to 3 freely, upcast animate from 3 to 6 freely. Must be capable of using the upcasted spell slot. i.e. cannot upcast to a level 7 spell when level 7 spells are not unlocked. Increase usage per long rest every five levels. i.e. level 5 character upcasts freely once; level 10 character upcasts freely twice.
