Prerequisite: Must have a spellcaster class or subclass or be a Dragonborn to take this feat. If you are a Dragonborn but not a spellcaster, this feat only applies to your breath weapon.
Choose a damage type from fire, radiant, necrotic, and lightning. Your spells ignore resistance to that damage type.
Whenever you cast a spell that reduces a creature's HP to 1 with the chosen damage type, the creature's HP is reduced to 0 instead. Whenever you reduce a creature's HP to 0 with a spell, if the lethal damage dealt was of the type chosen and the creature isn't a member of your party, the creature is automatically destroyed and can't be revived.
You may take this feat more than once.
