You have not only been designated as an official guardian of the sacred grove that the Godara bloodline has watched over for generations, but you have also earned said rank through many trials and tribulations experienced while serving on its holy grounds, granting you a handful of blessings;
- You are given stewardship of a familiar that mirrors your bond with Corellon. This life-long companion will live at least as long as you, and will be blessed by the god of elves in one or more other ways, just as you are.
- You also obtain the honorific title, "Master of Poisons", bestowing upon you immunity to both the poison condition and poison damage.
- You can sense and are silently alerted when a creature passes through the barrier (regardless of if they are successful or not) as well as what type of creature it is
- You have access to a set of Lair Actions and can make use of the grove's Regional Effects (both listed below) while within the jurisdiction of the grove.
On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), a guardian can take a lair action while within the grove to cause one of the following effects; the guardian can't use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- In 1d4 rounds, 1d6 swarm(s) of flying snakes within 500 feet appear to assist you and follow your commands as your familiar would. Roll a d20 for each "swarm" that appears: on a 1-10 they are green, a 11-17 makes them purple, and a 18-20 makes that many orange snakes appear instead (no swarms appear that round).
- Choose up to 2 awakened trees within 120 feet of you. Those trees then use their reaction to each make an attack or other action of your choosing.
- You can cast any spell from the Cleric spell list of 2nd level or lower without spell slots or components. Spells cast this way that would consume an action use a bonus action instead.
The region containing any of Corellon's sacred groves is warped by the intense concentration of magic, which creates one or more of the following effects:
- Within the grove, a guardian leaves no physical evidence of their passage unless it wishes to. Tracking them there is impossible except by magical means. In addition, they ignore movement impediments and damage from plants in this area that are neither magical nor creatures.
- Snakes and spiders within the grove serve as the guardian's eyes and ears. Deer and other large game are strangely absent, hinting at the presence of a peculiar local ecosystem.
