As of being turned, you have gained a frenzied hunger that can only be satiated by the blood of the living:
- You no longer require food or drink, aside from blood. Although most Vampires may consume food or drink without consequence, there are no nutritional benefits reaped from such.
- You are immune to Poison and cannot be inflicted with any illness or disease from consuming food or drink.
- When you feed on blood, you gain the nutritional benefits you may have previously gained from food or drink.
Vampires cannot survive without feeding on blood. Freshly-turned vampires require more blood than Elder or Ancient Vampires, but even the most powerful of Vampires cannot last longer than a few days without feasting.
After three (3) days of not feeding, a young Vampire will undergo starvation and slowly lose inhibitions until they are forced to feed in a frenzy. Elder Vampires may only resist feeding up to a week before they are frenzied. While frenzied, Vampires will experience the following:
- You cannot distinguish friend from foe and will attack indiscriminately, or even attempt to feed on an ally.
- Your senses will be heightened, and you may add a 1d4 bonus to Perception checks while searching for blood.
- You may not obtain the effects of a Long Rest until you feed. This will accumulate in points of Exhaustion.
