Prerequisite: Requires level 5 Warlock, The Undead Patron
When you transform into your Form of Dread, you can radiate terror. You gain the following:
- You let out a loud roar, forcing each creature within 15 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). A target automatically succeeds on the save if it can’t hear or see you. On a failed save, a target becomes frightened of you until the end of the user's next turn.
- instead of gaining 1d10 + your warlock level temporary health, you gain temporary hit points equal to 1d6 + half your warlock level. (Rounded down, minimum 1)
Every time you do a damaging spell in Form of Dread, the Patron may want to influence the battle themself and will attempt to force the caster into a state of violent madness. Let the dm roll a 1d100 and should the die roll a 95 or above (reduces by 10 per attack spell used while in Form of Dread), you must roll a wisdom save (DC 18).
- On a successful save, you give in to the violence but keep control. Gain advantage in attacking a frightened target and deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage on a crit. The timer for the Form of Dread is reset with no repercussions
- On a failed save, you give in to the violence and loose control. You attack the closest creature that is frightened of you, regardless of them being friend or foe. The timer for form of dread is reset, although using up an additional charge of Form of Dread
- You can use an action to let out the roar a limited amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus until the end of Form of Dread.
- Upon the end of the Form of Dread, the user is overcome with 1 level of exhaustion as the madness has stressed out your mind.
