Fire Attuned

You've gained a mystical connection to the primordial heart of the flame, spending you vitality and confidence. The deep resonance inside your soul allows you to manipulate certain quantities and aspects of fire.

• Increase your Constitution score by 1, up to a max. of 20.
• You learn the Absorb Elements (Fire) spell, and can cast it using a reaction.
• You learn the Control Flames cantrip, and can cast it using a bonus action.
  
• Both spells can be cast once per short rest.
• Casting by Feat only: You can use the "expand the flame" option of Control Flames, to shortly engulf a creature in a primordial cloud of flames, ignoring the requirement for the presence of fuel in the target location. (You'll still need a source of fire.)
  

If a creature engulfed by primordial flames fails a Dexterity saving throw (DC=11 + your Proficiency Modifier), it takes (1d10 + your Proficiency Modifier) fire damage, otherwise the damage is halved. The fire damage you deal via this feat can't be reduced by resistance to fire.
