Prerequisite Basic Geomancy - Once per long rest using a standard action a geomancer can commune with local elements to get an understanding of the local terrain or query about events that happened in that area. Similar to Speak With Plants, the more significant a source of elemental energy the more profound information can be obtained. With a successful Investigation check (DC determined by DM) a geomancer gains insight as to what they were seeking to find via images and sensations. This ability can extend far back in time given that terrain generally does not move much (with DMs discretion). This ability costs sorcerers 1 sorcery point and can be used at will. Miners and excavators find the ability particularly useful for finding ore veins or buried structures.
