Your bond with a particular magic item is exceptionally strong.
Choose a magical item you have been attuned with for a minimum of one year. At the completion of this training, you are now permanently attuned to this item and no longer need to count it among the items you must attune with to reap the benefits of attunement. You can only share this feature with one item at a time, and attunement with that item must be forcibly broken for you to attune in this way with another item.
Only the effects of death, planar separation, or an anti-magic field can sever this bond. If you have been dead for more than one minute, or outside the conditions for the Revivify spell, your bond will be severed. Being on a different plane than this attuned item for more than 24 hours will end the bond. Entering an anti-magic field with or without the item will end the bond instantly, as it will destroy the inherent magical tie.
If you spend one hour to reattune to this item once recovered, you will regain the benefits of this feat. If you choose to attune with another item that fits the criteria for this bond, it will also take one hour.
If the item is broken or loses its magical quality, it will have to be repaired or re-enchanted with the same magical quality before you can reattune in this manner, but some semblance of the original item must remain in the new item.
