• You learn the spells Shield and Absorb Elements, and can cast both each a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) per long rest.

• When casting either spell, you can change the spell from a range of self to target a creature you see get hit by an attack or take acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage within 15 feet of you.
