You've learned some of the rituals that exorcists use to suppress and banish undead, granting you the following abilities:
Banishing Rite. You can now cast Banishment as a ritual, granted that your target is undead and stays within your sight for the entire duration of the casting. Undead banished in this way are sent to the afterlife they were originally meant to be sent to. If you aren't a spellcaster then the DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.
Condemning Rite. You can spend 10 minutes creating a ritual circle on the floor with a radius of up to 10 feet. Whenever an undead in the radius makes an attack roll or a saving throw, they must roll a d4 and subtract the number rolled from the attack roll or saving throw. You cannot have more than one condemning rite active at a time, and the circle counts as a 1st level spell for the purposes of dispel magic. Once you use this ability, you are unable to use it again until you finish a long rest.
You gain one additional rite based on what type of sect you work within:
Sect of Preservation - Protection Rite. You can spend 10 minutes casting a ritual to place a charm of protection over a creature. The target gains resistance to necrotic damage, and its hit point maximum can’t be reduced for one hour. Once you use this ability, you are unable to use it again until you finish a long rest.
Sect of Resolution - Coaxing Rite. You can spend 10 minutes casting a ritual to place a charm of coaxing over a creature. For 1 hour, whenever the target makes a Charisma-based skill check when interacting with an undead creature, they can add their proficiency bonus to the roll. This does not work if the target already has expertise in the skill. Once you use this ability, you are unable to use it again until you finish a long rest.
Sect of Destruction - Holding Rite. You can spend 10 minutes casting a ritual to inscribe a sigil either on a surface (such as a section of floor, a wall, or a table). The sigil can cover an area of the surface no larger than 10 feet in diameter. When an undead creature passes through the space of the sigil, you can use a reaction to force the creature to make a Strength saving throw against your Spell Save DC. If you aren't a spellcaster then the DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier. On a failed save the creature is restrained within a magic barrier the size of the sigil with a height of 10 feet, and it may repeat the save at the end of each of it's turns. Undead within the barrier are unable to use Incorporeal Movement or Etherealness. The barrier itself is immune to all damage, can be passed through by all non-undead creatures, and counts as a 3rd-level spell for the purposes of dispel magic. Once you use this ability, you are unable to use it again until you finish a long rest.
