Your family line has a long history of gender and sex, more specifically: the ability to control it.
You have complete control over your bodily autonomy, both in and external including which parts you wish to alter.
(EX: You can keep your masculine facial features but change your lower body anatomy to feminine. You can completely change your appearance one way or another. Lower bodily can also be combined)
However, a complete gender change takes a lot of energy. It cannot be changed back/again until after a long rest. And there are set appearances to both “sides” (EX: You can’t alter the size of your genitalia or chest)
