You failed to stay alive, and then to make things worse you also failed to die. Unable to pass on, your body has entered a state of decay, and though the odd lost body part might be inconvenient, at least you can stick it back on again, good as new right?
As an undead you now have a backwards approach to life, things that would normally have healed you before, now cause you pain and you lose Hit Points equal to the amount you would have healed.
All is not lost, as things which cause necrotic damage now serve to heal you instead. After all, what has someone half dead got to fear about death?
As an undead you have a weakness to things that are good, thus you have a vulnerability to radiant damage.
With your affinity for all things necrotic, all your attacks do an extra 2d4 necrotic damage.
On giving this feat, the character is revived with 1 Hit Point.
Note: Only DM can give this feat.
