Starting at 7th Level you have begun to grasp the true nature of your cursed technique, As an action you can spend 4 Ki points to summon your domain for 1 minute. A 10 ft. radius of shadowy brambles grow from the ground around you making the area difficult terrain. Creatures in range when this ability is used and whenever a creature enters the space they must roll a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC 8 + Wisdom Modifier + Proficiency) or become ensnared by twisting vines, taking 2d8 + Wis Mod Necrotic Damage upon failure, and half as much on a success. While restrained, each target will take 1d8 Necrotic Damage at the beginning of its turn, at the end of the affected creature's turn they can roll a strength check to end the effect on themselves. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all charges when you take a long rest.
