You have learned the traditional ways of the Atlatl, or spear-throwing-lever. This two-foot-long spurred stick takes practice in the same way a Sling takes practice to use, but it improves the range, power, and accuracy of the shafts you throw with it. The atlatl is a valid Monk Weapon.
You gain the following: +1 Dex Score or Str Score, Woodcarver's Tools Proficiency, you ignore the Disadvantage penalty to throwing Javelins up to their Long Range and the Long Range of Javelins becomes 200 feet.
You can craft an atlatl and 6 Javelins over 1 hour with suitable materials yourself, or have an atlatl crafted for you. They can be magically enchanted like any other weapon, thus conveying that to their ammo (Javelins).
