An  unknowable evil turned your one true love and lifelong mate into a wildfire spirit.  You cannot stomach the thought of losing your love, so you formed a bond with the spirit. The spirit is friendly to you and your companions and obeys your commands. The spirit takes the appearance of your lost love, but can shift their appearance if you will them to do so as a bonus action. The spirit is compelled to stay within 20 feet of you at all times.

In combat, the spirit shares your initiative count, taking its turn immediately after yours.  The only action it can take on its turn is the dodge action, unless you use your bonus action to command the spirit to take another action.  If you are incapacitated, the spirit will only attempt to heal you on it's turn, taking no other action.
