You have honed your combat skills through rigorous battles within the arena. When you spend time in combat, your abilities become more potent. This grants you the following benefits:
- When you roll initiative for combat, you gain one Conditioning point.
- At the end of every turn you spend engaged in combat (fighting or taking damage), you gain an additional Conditioning point, to a maximum of three points.
- Once per turn, you can expend three Conditioning points to gain a temporary bonus during combat:
- As a reaction, spend and roll a hit die: gain the result of the roll in temporary hit points
- Until the end of your turn: gain 10 speed, you don't provoke opportunity attacks
- When you miss an attack roll, fail an ability check, or fail a saving throw: spend and roll a hit die and add it to the roll - Your Conditioning points reset to zero after you exit combat.
