 Arcane Tinkerer: You have an innate understanding of magical devices and can manipulate them with ease. You gain the following benefits:

You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill if you don't already have it.
When you use an action to examine a magical item, you can make an Intelligence (Arcana) check to determine its properties and how to activate or deactivate it.
If you spend 10 minutes examining a non-artifact magical item, you can attempt to temporarily alter its properties. Make an Intelligence (Arcana) check, and if you succeed, you can change one minor aspect of the item's function for 1 hour.
