Through intensive training, you’ve learned about situational techniques that can turn the tide in your favor.

  • When you have any creature in the grappled condition: Grappled Striking - You've learned to take advantage of an opponent you have grappled. On any successful melee attack against an opponent you have grappled you add an additional 1d6 damage of the attacking weapon type.
  • When you have a creature of your size or smaller in the grappled condition: Violent Takedown -  You've learned how to use the leverage of a grappled opponent against them in a vicious slam attack. The creature rolls a Strength save, the DC is 12 + your Strength Modifier. On a failed save, the creature suffers 2d6 + Str Mod bludgeoning damage and is stunned until the end of their next turn.
  • When a creature one size larger than you attacks you with a melee attack: Weaponized Momentum - Before the creature rolls to hit, you can use your Reaction to use their momentum against them. Your AC decreases by -1, on a missed attack, the creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage, is knocked Prone, and removes any remaining movement the creature has on that turn.
