Beast Kin Feat

Creature must

• Be of a challenge rating equal or below 1/4 your character level (rounding up).

• Have an Intelligence score of 7 or lower.

• Be able to understand at least one language (your companion understands you regardless of shared language).

• Shifter is limited on number of companion by creatures size, 1 for large 2 for medium and 3 for small.

Your companion also gains some additional benefits based on your character level and class:

• When you gain a level and increase your Hit Point Maximum your animal companion’s Hit Point Maximum increases equal to your roll plus their constitution modifier.

• When your companion deals damage you may add your proficiency bonus to the damage roll.

• When you gain a Ability score improvement you may also increase two of your companion’s scores by one or one of their scores by two.

• You gain proficiency with Animal Handling, in addition you may double your proficiency bonus when making skill checks.
