Prerequisite - Vow of Nonviolence Feat

This sacred vow grants significant supernatural benefits for as long as you never harm or assist with the harm of a living creature.

  • You are constantly surrounded by a calming aura to a radius of 20 feet. Creatures who move within the aura must make a successful Wisdom saving throw (Save DC= 8 + Your proficiency bonus + Your Charisma modifier) or be affected by the Calm Emotions spell. The aura is a mind-affecting, supernatural compulsion.
  • You gain a +6 bonus to your AC.
  • You gain Advantage on all Charisma (persuasion) checks.

Only if Unarmored

  • If a creature strikes you with a non-magical weapon (excluding natural weapons such as claws), the attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw save (Save DC= 8 + Your proficiency bonus + Your Charisma modifier) or the weapons will shatter against your skin, leaving you unharmed.

To fulfill your vow, you must not cause harm to any living creature. You also may not use non-damaging spells to incapacitate or weaken living creatures so that your allies may slay them--if you incapacitate a foe, you must take them prisoner or spare them. If you intentionally break your vow, you immediately and irrevocably lose the benefit of this feat. You may not take another feat to replace it. If you break your vow as a result of magical compulsion or otherwise unwittingly, you lose the benefit of this feat until you perform a suitable penance or with the use other worldly interference such as Wish.
