Arcane Mimicry

• You can mimic one cantrip known by a caster you travel with. Your chances of success begin at 25% and increase 25% each day you cast it at least once until you know it completely. You must not be separated from the caster you are mimicking by more than a mile until you have reached 100%.
• You can cast this cantrip as a reaction for an attack of opportunity as if you had the War Caster feat. You still must have one hand free to perform the somatic component.
• If you are away from the caster you learned from for more than 5 days, you begin to lose the cantrip. Your chances of success are reduced by 25% each day beginning with the 6th day.
• At any time, you can forget the cantrip you know and pick another by the same method.

This cantrip cannot be used to meet the prerequisite for anything that requires the ability to cast a spell.

You may take this feat more than once.

If you already have, or otherwise gain the ability to cast a cantrip (through a class, another feat, or your race) you do not forget the cantrip when no longer travelling with the caster you learned it from. You do still have to learn it in the same manner, and may choose to forget it to learn another.
