The practitioner has learned how to retreat into ones own mind in a construct resembling an office or safe house. While within this 'headspace' action takes place at the speed of thought, allowing the practitioner to work through thoughts, devise plans, construct diagrams and other non-arcane actions that would normally take hours in a matter of moments. While in this headspace, the practitioner is unaware of what is happening to their body or around them without a pre-established method of information delivery such as scry, or telepathy, and are thus vulnerable for the duration of the use of headspace.
Use of telepathy or other psychic linking capacity allows the practitioner to bring one other willing mind into their headspace 'office' to have discussions, training, or exchange information at the same speed of thought. This allows students to learn quickly, or masters to instruct students in 'safe' controlled one on one environments. Use of this technique however leaves both involved in a meditative vulnerable state in the waking world, and forceful interruption of the headspace can cause psychic damage and astral drift.
