Draconic Blood Transfusion Image
Prerequisite: Undergo a ritual of dragon blood infusion.

Description: This feat signifies the profound changes your body and soul undergo after receiving a transfusion of dragon blood. The process is excruciating, as your very essence is rewritten to intertwine with draconic magic. Your body reshapes, scales may form on your skin, and you feel a surge of power coursing through your veins.

Benefits:

  • Draconic Resilience: Your skin toughens, granting you a +1 bonus to your Armor Class.

  • Draconic Wings: You grow a pair of dragon-like wings, granting you a flying speed of 30 feet. Using these wings requires concentration (as if concentrating on a spell) and can be sustained for up to 10 minutes at a time.

  • Breath Weapon: You gain a breath weapon aligned with the type of dragon whose blood you received (fire, ice, acid, etc.). Once per short rest, you can exhale destructive energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus), taking 2d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level.

  • Draconic Senses: Your senses sharpen, granting you darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.

Transformation Experience:

Undergoing the Draconic Blood Transfusion is an intensely painful experience. As the dragon blood merges with your own, you feel as if your bones are being remolded, your muscles reshaped, and your skin set ablaze. The sensation of growing wings is akin to bones and muscles stretching and tearing to accommodate the new appendages. The entire process is harrowing and leaves you physically and mentally exhausted. It takes several days to recover from the initial shock to your system.
