Teamwork makes the dreamwork. No-one told you it also gives you awesome team-up powers.
When you achieve a milestone in your relationship with someone from the party, you get a bond point you may apply next to the name of that person. When you are within 10 feet of someone you share a bond point with, you may apply the following effect to your character:
Aura of trust: Gain a +1 to AC and all Saving Throws for 2 turns.
Shared Insight: Gain advantage on an ability check when near a bonded ally.
Empathic Recovery: When either yourself or a bonded ally gains HP, The other gains 1d4 HP.
Coordinated Strike: When in range of a bonded ally, gain +1 bonus to attack rolls.
Rallying Presence: When a bonded ally within range is attacked, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
