Time spent mastering the smithing arts has paid off, granting you the following benefits:
- Increase your Strength or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You gain proficiency with smith's tools if you don't already have it.
- When you finish a long rest, you can enhance one piece of equipment made of metal that you touch. The equipment may be a nonmagical piece of armor, shield or weapon. Anyone wearing or wielding the item receives a bonus to the creature's AC (if it's a piece of armor or a shield) or attack and damage rolls (if it's a weapon). The bonus is equal to your proficiency bonus (rounded down) and it lasts until you finish a long rest.
